Please be advised that new recruit applications for the 2026–2027 training year will only be accepted between September 1 and September 10, 2026. Applications submitted outside of this timeframe will not be considered.
Once your application has been reviewed, a member of the 132 Spitfire team will contact you via email with further instructions.
Important:
If you are transferring from another squadron or element, please email 132Air@cadets.gc.ca directly. An online application is not required for transfers.

Between September 1 and September 10, 2026, complete the application through the Government of Canada website (link here).
Application Requirements and Reminders
Applicants must be at least 12 years old at the time of application.
Under Health Insurance Plan, please select “Public” and provide your Health Card information.
Ensure all information entered is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
After Submission
You will receive an automated confirmation email indicating that your application has been submitted.
This automated message may include additional steps; however, please wait for further instructions from our team before taking any action.
Due to high volume of applications and limited spots, you will be added to a lottery intake system with additional steps to complete.

As part of the Canadian Cadet Organization, 132 Spitfire Air Cadet Squadron (Brampton, Ontario) is a program for all young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities whose purpose is to develop in youth the attributes of leadership, engaged and active citizenship and physical fitness. The Squadron focuses academically on aviation, aerospace, principles of flight, propulsion, meteorology, etc. Extra-curricular activities include the opportunity for all cadets to experience glider familiarization flights, aviation themed trips, as well as the opportunity to receive a Glider Pilot Scholarship and/or Power Pilot Scholarship.
