Selection Criteria 

The recipient must have a complete knowledge of the activities of the cadet movement and must meet the following requirements: 

1. have a high level of physical fitness; 

2. have qualified to a training level of at least level 3; 

3. have met all requirements of their squadrons mandatory training program and attended at least 75 per cent of the scheduled training parades in the year; 

4. have met all requirements of their squadrons optional training program and attended at least 50 percent of the scheduled activities; 

5. have completed three years as a cadet; 

6. be regarded by peers and supervisors as exemplifying the model cadet; and 

7. have completed a three week senior cadet summer training course.
